Aura Therapies WordPress website case study

TBH Digital · WordPress websites and practical content

I began working with Laura when her business was known as Knockerdown Treatments. In March 2023, she rebranded the business as Aura Therapies.

My involvement has continued as the business has evolved. This case study explains my contribution to the WordPress website and the thinking behind its presentation.

My contribution: WordPress design, organising treatment content and presenting business information alongside Fresha booking links.

The brief: make treatment information easier to explore

The aim was to help visitors understand the business, explore the treatments available and find a route to booking. Treatment information needs to be approachable for someone who may arrive without knowing the name of the service they want.

The site also needed a calm visual identity that suited the business and allowed its content to remain the focus.

Organising the content around visitors

My work brought together the design and presentation of treatment information. The focus was to give visitors a useful route through the content, rather than leave them to interpret a list of treatment names on their own.

For a service business, that means considering the relationship between an introduction, the information someone needs to choose a service and the next action they can take.

A route from reading to booking

Booking links lead to Fresha, the business’s external booking system. The website’s role is to explain the offer and help visitors reach that next step with enough information to decide.

This is an example of connecting website content with a service the business already uses. It does not mean the WordPress website itself processes bookings or payments.

What this example demonstrates

  • WordPress website design for a local service business.
  • Content organisation and treatment-information presentation.
  • A visual approach suited to a wellbeing business.
  • Clear links between the website and an external booking service.

This case study describes the work and design approach. I do not have verified before-and-after booking or traffic figures to report.
